New Floor

Derrick spent most of this past weekend installing new laminate flooring in our living room/dining area. The boys and I tried our best to stay out of the way. Occasionally Isaac "helped" daddy with his work. Here are some pictures showing the progress that was made.

Derrick ripped all the carpet out and vacuumed.

Derrick got a little sweaty in the process. I think his legs are a little sore too!

The red stuff on the floor is a moisture barrier and cushioning.

Here is what it looks like now, except we have a lot more toys covering up the carpet. I knew it wouldn't stay organized for long. Derrick still has more flooring to install near the kitchen and the finishing touches around the outer edge of the floor, but it is sooooo much better than the gross stained carpet we had before. Thanks D!
