The Gift of Grace

It's amazing what you can learn from your children. Isaac has been learning about grace in Sunday school the past few weeks. One Sunday he told us that grace is what we get from God but we can also get it from others. He gave an example of grace he had received from dad when he got to go on a bike ride with him even though he hadn't been very nice and had made some bad choices. He said that he didn't deserve to go on the bike ride but dad took him anyway and that was grace. He explained that God has enough grace for everyone. There have been other times throughout the week when Isaac will point out times when he sees grace happening and he has prayed for grace during the dinner prayer and thanked God for grace. Then I read this blog ( that was all about grace. One part really stood out, a hymn:

Grace, grace, God's grace. Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.
Grace, grace, God's grace. Grace that is greater than all our sin.

I am positive God is trying to tell me something.
I must need a reminder that God's grace is enough and that I should offer grace to others.
Thanks for the lesson Isaac.
